After loading Steinberg Wavelab 4.0 - which works OK I cannot use the CD and DVD players. Device Manager shows them with Code 37 unable to initialise device. I have un installed these devices and re installed them but get the same error code.

If I do a system restore (XP), pre Steinberg, these can be accessed OK.

Until now I have been using this mechanism to swap between uses, but now the restore file I need is not available (They only go back 3 months).

Can anyone help ?
