san andreas/ps2 problem help pleaz

i while back my ps2 stoped reading disc so i opened it up and cleaned it a little and adjusted the laser, now it reads every game/dvd i put in it. every game and dvd works fine except for my gta san andreas. when i play my san andreas it pops up a window that says disc cannot be read it pops up like every 30 seconds and goes away after like a minute. I realy need help becuz my gta is my favorite game, its the only reson i hav ps2, and i need to play it. I want to know is it that i didnt clean the ps2 good enuff, i need a new lazer, or my san andreas is what is messing up(its has very small scratches).

yeah ive got a similar problem, ps2 cant load up San Fierro anymore without messing up

i tried my san andreas on onathor ps2 and still kept freezing at sertain areas
so i got a scratch fixer and after a couple of tries i finaly fixed the cd, but the wierd thing is that my san andreas was never realy deeply scrached
