What about Plextor DVD Burners? Does DVD XCopy work with newer Plextor drives?

Hi I bought DVD XCopy, and now have to purchase a drive. I've been looking at the Plextor 708, 712 and 716 Dual Layer. I don't know that DVD XCopy will do the Dual Layer, but will it work with the Plextor 12X single layer DVD Burner?

XCopy will work with the 708, if you buy 2.4x media. The newer ones ... most likely not. It will either not recognise the drive or you'll get bad burns.

XCopy isn't meant to burn faster than 4x.
