I just bought an extenral USB2 DVR108, just tried with SONY 1-8 X DVD-R. It took 1.2 hour to burn 4.3 GB. 1.5 hour to verify. ? Any hint for the problem.

Additional info: Burning software: Nero 6.3. set write speed x 16. The source file is on Firewire external drive which uses the same adapte card as the USB2 for DVR-108.

The Adapter card has both firewire and USB2. I forget if I installed USB2 drive for it but Window XP is supposed to have the USB2 drive ?
