I bet your all getting tired of me but I have a couple more problems. I have been attempting to boot burnt games with an Action Replay (im not sure what version) with the techniques you so kindly posted a link for. When doing this I get to the part when you open your disk tray with the slide card... I then close it and make sure it is closed to the point where I cannot pull it out. I then hit X to attempt to load the disk... my PS2 then makes high-pitched spinning noises as if it is going to load but then I get spooked and turn it off after about 4-6 seconds. Do you think this is my media (TDK CD-R's) or the version of Action Replay I have? please do not send me a link to the booting methods on this forum... THANKS!!!

well, burning at 52x is really bad. I just burnt a game at 8x, and its still noisy. how big is the game your trying to load? if its bigger than 630megs, it wont work this way.

have to agree with sly burning at 52x ain't a good idea would recomend you try burning at either 4x or 8x and see if that helps, also as sly asked are these cd based games or dvd rips in excess of 630mb

You replied that your CD backups do not exceed 630MB, however, you also stated that your backup was about 70MB. I'm not aware of any games that are that size. What exactly are you trying to boot and how are trying to boot it?

It is a really small game... it is NAMCO Museum... the game that has PacMan, Ms. PacMan, Pole Position, etc. A VERY small game correct?

Didn't realize there were any games that small. So is it a PS1 or PS2 game and step-by-step, what are you doing to try and boot it? Also, what mod are you using or are you using a slidecard or fliptop?
