Hello,
I do apologize about being a newbie and posting in this thread but I don't think the newbies will be able to answer my question. I'm trying to convert a dvd to an avi to a wmv. I would like to be able to play videos on my Ipaq Pocket Pc. I have read through multuple guides and the one that is the closest is "Copy your DVD into DivX5 format - Guide for 16:9 anamorphic movies" but the problem is the VFAPIConvert tool that converts .dv2 files into a psuedo AVI is not compatiable with an XP OS. I have tried to skip the step of and go from Dvd2Api directly to using the Media Encoded but it does not work. It converts the audio but not the video. I have tried to tweak the settings but nothing has worked. The working tools I have right now are Dvd Decrypter, DVD Shrink, DVD2AVI and the Windows Media Encoder. Could someone please explain to me what steps I should try or any other ways to transfer a DVD to a Pocket PC. Thanks.
