I am looking for an easy-to-use, reliable DVD recorder-VCR combo...Costco has the GoVideo 3840 on sale for $279.99. Anybody have any experience or knowledge with this model? Recommendations for, or cautions against, buying it?

Just noticed that BB has the Sharp DVRW340U for 299 bucks....Is this a better deal/unit?
