I have my HDTV used as a secondary display connected to my PC.My video card on my PC has an S-Video, so I have an adapter that it also came with that goes S-Video(PC) to Component(on the HD television).The question is are DVD's still in true 480p? Does the S-Video lower this? It looks very clear but its hard to tell on DVD's. I use WinDVD as the player, would WinDVD be putting my movie in Progressive Scan to achieve the 480p in the first place? Thanks I hope someone can help with this. Any more info needed please ask..and I am sorry if this isnt the right place to post this.
