I have tried verbatim and ritek at 2x (thats the lowest speed i can get) and still there´s a scary loud noise. I have modded ps2 (messiah 2) and i used Litheon and Lg dvd/cd burners with the same result

My ps1 backups work well on my ps2, almost no sound at all. My ps2 dvd backups make almost no sound at all, the problem is only with ps2 cds and ps2 dvdrips (that fit on cd). Is there any possible solution to reduce the noise? If there isn´t a way to reduce the noise, is there a way to make a ps2 cd game on a dvd?? or a dvdrip (that fits on a cd) on a dvd?

The ps2 games i am working on right now are shaman king and gradius, the first is 630 and the second is 680 mb

Thankz in advance

First of all does it even load? Also, what program are you using to burn? And are you trying to burn to cd-rw or cd-r?

Pentium 4 2.80 GHz
512MB RAM, 36GB HD
LITE-ON LTR-52327S
XP Home,GeForce4 Ti 4200/AGP/SSE2
(And it was all free)

well... everything sounds perfect to me... the only thing I can think of is the brand of disk... some brands have larger or thicker disks which can be a little noisy
