I just recently purchased a new powersupply for my xbox that I virtually built from the ground up. I have a new MB/HDD combo (ver 1.6b) and a new Thompson DVD. When I got my new power supply I hooked everything up and it will not power up. I pulled everthing apart to ensure all connections are secure and that everything is hooked up correctly and still no power, no blinking eject button...absolutely nothing! Any ideas?

There is a collector on the 1.6 boards that can give an unstable voltage and the board won't power up as long as you know your power supply is good. Check out this link. http://www.llamma.com/xbox/Repairs/1.6_Xbox_no_power.htm
