I have asked before but it has not changed.
I do give alot of advice aswell not just useless posts.
So please i know drd hates this but can a mod or someone change me to member.

Moderators have no ability to change member status. The Admins are very busy fellows away from AD so just be patient - it's about helping others, not the staus :)

Didnt know that.
I think mods should have this power but can only change when the right number of posts have been reached. Because there is not to many admins to do all that work.
Just a suggestion.

The ranks are only updated basically monthly, could be beginning could be middle, could be end, i dont know.

Hi ozzy1, Don't let the title under your name carry so much weight. As you know its done by post count. I've seen members post useless answers over and over again just to raise their standing. I've seen 20 or 30 posts in the testing thread for the same reason. That doesn't make someone a good member. Its the quality of the post that should count. If you keep giving good advise as you say you do then other members will respect you for that reason not for the title under your name. Keep up the good work and the title will change at some point but don't make that your #1 priority. I have to post somewhere around 800 more to go up a step but I don't even look at the total anymore. It isn't that important. I hope I came across with this the right way. I wasn't coming down on you just trying to give some friendly advice. Later

Last update was done around mid-September if I remember correctly, as I've been sorta away for past 12 weeks working for one ridiculously big media company and havent had time to do much for the site meanwhile. Next status update should be done within few hours.
But my own title probably says everything there is to be said about my attitude towards "ranks" in forums..

I've been sorta planning to allow myself to use avatar despite banning everybody else from using them and switch my member level to some bizarre pic and let people wonder whether that is me or not, just to keep people entertained.
EDIT: Removed few links, just to avoid people starting silly wars over moral values..

The usual: for being a mod -- helluva lots of work and being nice to other mods as they make the recommendations for new mods :-) For getting any title you ever want to: purchase 51 percent of AfterDawn Ltd's shares and you can have Führer as your title if you really want to. I can provide the account details in case you happen to have spare decent amount of euros, dollars, pounds, etc..

:-) I don't particularly like the Volvo's SUV's looks, but that's just me -- I don't like MB's SUV either.. But I'd have to seriously consider between BMW X5 and Cayenne if I ever had that amount of cash to have such a dilemma :-)
Ah well, maybe I'll settle for my Volvo V40 for now :-)

buy the porsche far better car their is no substitue or the tourreg they say it a porsche with a V.W. motor and badges also i great choice i think alot of go awards since its first year.
