Something has happened to my NEC ND-1100A. It has been fine burning greatly for the most part until now. I have been making coasters and even more annoying is that my burning program's only recognize the burner at 2.4x! I updated the firmware and that hasnt helped anything. Im using XP SP2 and still on the same spindle Memorex and have tried other media also. So now I got Dell to replace my drive with a new Teac 8x burner and now this one is only burning my Phillips 8x media at 4x speed and my 4x Memorex at 2.4x speed. What is the problem? and why am I only getting half speeds? Is it an SCSI controller problem or something? please help
