Hello..I'm new to all of this. I have an older Dish Satellite receiver that does not record. I'm trying to store the tv channels into the DVD recorder. I have to set the TV on "video" for the DVD Recorder's "Set Up" screen to appear. When I try to do the channel search I'm only getting one fuzzy channel.(I think it's trying to find local channels only, not sure). I followed the directions for connections, but guess I did something wrong. Can someone help me?
My TV has a "VHF/UHF In". The audio video input has an "S-Video"; "Video"; "Video"(yellow), "R"(red), and "L"(white). The audio output is "R"(red) and "L"(white).
My Dish receiver has "Audio R" and "L", and "Video". "TV Antenna/Cable In", "TV Set Out", and a "Satellite In" Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
