Building a new computer here....somewhat new at it. Was all set to get an Asus p4p800e deluxe mobo with a P4 3.0GHz cpu. Now I see that Intel won't be putting out any new chips on the socket 478. So I'm wondering if I shouldn't get the LGA775 P4 3.0 GHZ instead??? And what is the corresponding LGA775 asus mobo??? Thanks.

Hey

This one has the same 865PE chipset. It has no wireless.

You might want to step up to the 915 or 925.

Have you taken a look at the AMD Athalon 64 socket 939.Check out the Asus A8V Deluxe. For the price and performance it's worth taking a look at.
