Do stand-alone DVD players require menu???

Do most stand alone dvd players require haveing the file on the disc that contains the menu?? And if so, if u need to remove the menu from the disc to save room can u just re-name the .vob's in the order as if one of them was the dvd menu????

Please let me know what you think or if I'm speaking gibrish!!!!

no you dont have to have menu in dvd...

when you use authoring-software it will do all files that you will need...

use ifoedit, it will rename your vobs and make new ifo's so that your dvd will start playing as soon as it is inserted in to the player.
