HELP....

Please can someone help me. I have been following trilights guide on how to copy a DVD9 to a DVD5 keeping everything (menu, extras, 5.1 sound etc etc). I have been quite succesful and have copied grease R1 with no problems at all. Now comes the problem. I have just done the special edition of beauty and the beast R1 which works fine on my powerdvd software but it has some problems playing it through IFOEdits player or on my standalone players (pioneer, ps2, apex). When I insert the dvd it plays the FBI warning, the trailers and then hangs when it is supposed to play the movie intro to the menu. If I push my next button to move chapters it plays the movie. If I hit the menu button it shows the menu up. This is quite frustrating as all I want to do is insert the dvd and watch all the cool stuff before the actual menu comes up. Also I dont like the hanging bit !!! This is how I have converted it.

1. Ripped the entire disk using DVD Decrypter
2. Got all the chapters using chapterxtractor
3. Used V-Strip to isolate the special edition m2v (due to disney protection)
4. Used DVD2Avi to get the AC3 soundtrack
5. Rebuilt these using meastro
6. Imported the newly authored VOBS back into the mix and used IFOUpdate to realign

Just to add a note : When my standalone is supposed to play the menu movie is shows up chapter 19 on the display. This is correct.

Any ideas whats wrong ?
be gentle with me as I am a newbie. This is only my second attempt !!!
