hi helppppppppppppppppp
just put a new x3 chip in to a 1.6 xbox it came up with the flash bios screen we flashed it with the latest bios but we still have it coming up with the flash bios screen i have been given the the file m8 evox bin file do i put it ona cd on its own and what do i name the cd or do i have to put it on the flashbios cd and it does the both the same time getting stuck now and xmas is coming quickly i hope this makes sense to anybody

With X3, you can select flashbios using http. that is pretyy easy to do. make sure you use M8_16.bin

Install the mod chip, power up, on the FlashBios screen you can select how you want to flash your BIOS. http is one of the choice. If you have a PC and a Broadband router connection at home, connect your xbox to the router will get your xbox an IP address. On your PC, use Internet Explorer to open that IP address will get you the http flash BIOS screen.

What is the best bios to use with a spiderchip on a v 1.6 xbox.

I don't think it really matters what dash you're going to use it mostly depends on your version xbox. Evox m8 16 is the only one that works on the 1.6 right now.

Did you get it to work? I have the same problem, I flashed the Bios via http, but when I reboot the unit it goes back to the Bios screen, any Ideas why???
