Psx Burned Games Not Reading

I have a modded ps2 (duo chip or something not sure) and i downloaded Initial D psx game and burned it on a cd-r. I used Alcohol 120 with ps option on the first disc and ps2 on the 2nd. My ps2 wouldn't read the cd at all but it works fine with my burned copy of Guilty Gear X2. I've read the guide and did exactly wat it says, even the AR guide (i have a AR Max) but still nothing. If anyone can help me plz post. Im also using a maxwell 700mb cd-r.
