hi. i just downloaded dreamsnes. it has a step by step guide about it on http://www.lysator.liu.se/dreamsnes/tutorial/
but after about half way through it, i hit a prob, it says i need to downlod sumthing else. and wen i do it has a txt with it and that says this
Installation: Windows 2000 / XP

If you are on Win 2k / XP then you need to copy
everything inside of the 'Win2k-XP' found inside
this zip into your 'WinNT' folder usually on your
C Drive. Just say yes to overwrite everything.
Next run aspi32.exe and restart when it asks
you to. This should work every time. Your
problems will be solved :)
but i dont know wer WinNT folder is. and do i just copy and paste? im new at this sorry. but thats all i have to know to be able to burn my game

i cant seem to find it. i have copy and pasted the place wer it should be. but no luck. can u tell me what to do please. i cant install aspi please help

yes. but wen i get so far installing dreamsnes it says faild. but in the step by step guide it says if it has faild i need to download aspi layer so dreamsnes can find my drivers but wen i download it. i dont know what to do with this aspi layer download.i dont know wer to copy it to or what files to copy from it

i have just downloaded aspi file with no problems,you need to open your windowsNT file,look at desktop/then my computer,local c drive,then windowsNT,if cant do that,click on START,SEARCH,FILES OR FOLDERS,IN LOCAL C .DRIVE do you have a modded ps2 console???

no sorry. dont have a modded ps2. but i did hear u can use a action replay v 2+ to play copy games. but thats only what i have heard. / ok so i have opend windowsNT what do i do with these files? do i just drag these files over windowsNT folder and drop? its just it says my computer will notify me i am about to replace files. is this what i do drag and drop over that folder?

yes,open winNT folder,there should be lots of files in there,just drag it over,and let the computer do the rest.you then have to run this file (aspi),this should then solve the problem of the emulator not sourcing your driver.p.s if you have anymore problems,just get yourself a swapmagic kit for a ps2,around £20,and i will send you a copy of snes emulator for the playstation 2.free of charge.its xmas.

yes i have a ps2. but this program, whitch i am happy to say i got working :) is suposed to be for the ps2 xbox and dreamcast. i only wanted it for the dreamcast though. until i get a boot disk for the ps2 or xbox that is

you can pick up swap magic disc and slide card for your ps2 for around £20,they are quite easy to use,and requires no soldering.you should think about getting one,and dump your dreamcast!!!ps2 backups are dirt cheap these days.

na the dream cast is a clisic. it would be nice to see the very first 128 bit and the very last sega with new games, but that dont mean i just want games for that. wer do you get these thing from though? i have ben looking round the net and it says only online is that true?

yeah,mostly online,my ps2 is chipped with messiah2,cost me around £60.i have hundreds of games for ps2 included your beloved snes,mega drive emulators!!!
