Hi, if anyone can help with this i have been trying to get an answer for ages.

This is the problem, if I convert a film from avi by using virtualdub to split the audio / video streams then convert the video in TMPGenc and convet the wav file with besweet to an ac3 file.
I then author them using TMPGenc DVD Author and burn to dvd with the software included in dvd aurthor. When playing the movie on a stand alone dvd player with my tv the picture and sound quality are great I have no complaints but on nearly 80% I produce the ending goes bad and either stops playing or is unwatchable _ I need to find an answer to this as it is really anoying...

Any help in this matter would be greatly appriciated

It sounds like bad media, what are you using. I am not familiar with the technique you are using, but skipping etc on a burnt dvd usually means quality of media, or lack of it!
