No audio on my dvd!

I have just recently captured some old home video to my hard drive using the Pinnacle Studio 9 software and the PCI card that came with it. I then created a DVD disk using studio. The dvd works fine on my stand alone DVD player; however, when i play the DVD on my computer there is no sound! I have researched this problem and can not find a solution. Any help would be greatly apreciated.

So it works fine on your stand alone...but not on your PC?!? Hhmm...its normally the other way around!!

Simple reason probably...checked all your sound options?
There is a 'CD Player' volume control. In Win XP, check this under "Sounds and Audio Devices Properties", "Advanced...". Sorry if you have done this...but usually the simplest is the answer.
