I was just wondering if these newer digital and flatscreen TVs still have the overscan problem? Seems that if they are more similar to computer moniters, they might not "overscan" anymore. Anyone know if this is true?

The reason I'm wondering is because I have some DivX anime fansubs which I'm trying to play on my TV with the new DVD/DivX player I got and the subtitled run off the screen on my old TV. I'm getting a new one soon, so I wondered if there was one that would show the full screen.

I know I can use a program to add some black around the video, but part of the reason I wanted to get a DivX player was so I wouldn't have to spend so much time getting these files to show on my TV...I usually just convert them to DVD-Video.
