I searched for something similar in other posts but the only one I found had not been answered. So..

I have a good ripped DVD on HD and I usually use ifoedit to strip main movie and sound with no menus and burn (no probs) though on this particular dvd, I want to include the root menu with some extras albeit only 2 extras but render the other links on that menu page (and vob's) of the other extras useless so that when I press that link on my set-top..it will not do anything but leave those 2 with their resp. vobs intact. I left the ifo/vobs of those 2 and it works perfectly from them menu..and when I press other link it obviously says nav error which was expected but I think this will make my set-top experience crash and freeze (dont want that) so..how to render these links or make the pointers ignore them?

On the same note I think I can fit the vobs and ifos WITH menu and 2 extra movie clips into 1 dvd-r but in case I cannot (maybe over 50-60g) if i go ahead and strip just the portug. audio through ifoedit it will free up space and I can burn though will it trash my menu/ifo's?

Not a problem, just portug to wherever and joystick over to your muffler bearings and copy that DVD with no probs and you're golden.
