umm i want to backup my games and ive tried using 8x Ritec dvds but they never seem to work.. i was wondering do ps2 prefer a certain kind og #x and what does all thes # mean..?

well for a start "#" denotes "number",the x2,x4,x8 denotes the disc burn speed capabilities,ps2 games should generally be burned at the slowest speed possible.

I all ways burn at 4x with memoex and it works perfect for me.

G05s (ritek 8X) are not liked by most PS2s for reading, nor are they liked by many burners for burning. Good luck, my reccomendation is to go buy G04s (Ritek 4X) they work fine and some say they are burnable at 8X.
