Just came back from Walmart with the intention of getting an inexpensive dvd recorder. I ended up getting the Sanyo because of the fact that I have heard the name before, and the unit feels much heavier than the Ilo, ( I know this probably makes no difference but I always thought the heavier the thing is maybe the less plastic it has), anyway, the folks at Walmart had no info on either of them, and I just found out the warrantys are the same. I would have saved 30 bucks by getting the Ilo, and I am looking for input from you folks, if the units are equal then I might as well save some money and return the Sanyo. Also, I could not find any info as far as Ilos web site but I did find Sanyo. Both have toll free numbers, but I guess the simple question for me is, is one better than the other?

PS it is really a choice between these two as I only had 200 bucks to spend and this included tax.
