My DVD Writting Process stops after certain %

I'm using Sony 700A on my P4 2.6 GHz machine with 512 MB RAM and 180GB Hard disk. Temporary Hard disk has 9 GB free. I'm using Nero 6 provided with Sony DVD Writer.
Everytime I try to write on a DVD, it stops after certain %. I thought it was because I was using DVD-R so I got DVD+R after killing 4 DVD-R and then tried with DVD+R and in my complete experiment which involved changing Temp drive, changing system, changing data, I ended up 4 more DVDs. Before all these exercises, I could successfully write 5 DVD+R of Sony Make and out of which, one was Video DVD also.
Guys please help me and let me know if this problem is of Sony or of Nero and how I can get rid of this.
