Hi

Here is what I have and what I'm trying to do .

pioneer DVD-r standalone recorder
apex DVD player
scientific Atlanta explorer 8000 DVR
Emerson VCR
zenith 27"
5.1 surround sound
GO DVD
and a 3 input converter I believe

What I'm trying to do is record DVD to DVD and vcr to DVD some disks are getting bad handling same with the tapes I kept getting copy protection errors , I found godvd and want to hook that up to work on all my systems I have everying hooked up I get pictures, sound on the DVD player when I record from DVD to DVD I get the cable channel that has never happened before .
when I shut the cable box off and connect video in and video out the way the book tells me to the pictures get real bad with red pictures
I have tried switching the cables around and no picture at all

If u can help I would apprentice it a diagram would be wonderful . I'm so disappointed it did not work right away .
