Hello, I just got the ps2 slim and Swap Magic 3.3, I have backed up my MK Deception and it works great.
My problem is that I cannot seem to be able to burn Marvel vs. Capcom 2.
I burn the iso with Nero and Alcohol 120% at 1X with a TDK CD-R and it still dosen't work.
Please help me, am I doing something wrong?

Hello, well I checked the info but it seems to be for DVD formated games. Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is in a CD, also DVD Decryptor only does DVD's.
So, has anybody successfully burned Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and actually played it. If so, how did you do it?

Hey. oh alrite.
Well did you try backing it up using any other program like Fire burner, Disk Juggler, or Gamejack?
Thats all i can think of, unless there is something wrong with the game itself, like scratches or something.

by the way, It is said that the Swap magic CD-R Disc does not work with every Ps2 CD-R Back-up games.
Many people have said they had problems with non booting CD-R back-ups when using Swap magic.
Other than that every DVD-R game should work perfectly.

Marvel vs Capcom 2 is a cd game - use CloneCd, alcohol, whatever. It's simple and make sure it copies good (no scratches that cause missed data).
SM CD 3.3 should read any CD PS2 game right away. The older version had problems reading backup games in alot of PS2 - remedy to that was to refresh the TOC (push eject) with a real CD PS2 game or the Breaker Pro CD.

SMD Version 3.3 = im anrgy cause i didnt think smd would come up with bullsh%t like this so i think everybody should know about them saying on there advertisement its compatible with all ps2 games when SMD 3.3 is have the same problems as SMD 2.0 like these games i kept because i thought some smart nerd from SMD creators would come up with a solution for these games i stached because they didnt work on version 2
Not Working
1 SAMURAI WARRIORS
2 LEGENDS OF WRESTLING 2
and just so some people who think they know about STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT lol that game works on smd 3.3 the same as version 2 cause i just try the new and old version
smd 3.3 CD version = ??? i dont get it i got ps2 cd based games like STREET FIGHTER EX3, MARVEL VR's CAPCOM 2, and GALACTIC WRESTLING for PS2 its funny cause all these games works perfectly on my SMD-CD 2.0 Version but not the 3.3 new Version of swap magic discs lol wtf is goin on i mean who made these new SMD's some crack headed immigrant hypes at the SMD company just trying to get some easy hustling money to suck on a quick glass Di##ck????
I have a ps2 version 7 if anyone was wondering oyea just so u know i now exactly how to burn so if u are thinking im burning it wrong all my burns was succesfull and like i said most of these games work on the old version of smd yes i am talking about 2.0 lol i bet u there gonna come out with a new better version soon this was just a quick hustlin dallar for them............ lol one more thing dosent it bother u that ps3 didnt come out yet when that sh##t should of been out along time ago they was goin to because they couldn't come up with a solution to stop smd from burning ps2 games so they made double checks when they didnt work they made a new system lol not a ps3 but a damn pstwo not simple to add a flip top to it thats why they created the pstwo-but u could and now look ps2 company is in a money crises again lol soon this shit will be ilegal i know what u thinkin they say on the internet that its not against the law if u own it lol then how could ps2 get away with putting tripple checks on some of there new games comin out? think about it pimpin

You have to search for the details yourself on that. It's not hard to find. I don't use alcohol so I can't help you on that. Sorry bud. . .

I honestly think they want you to end up spending money and buy the Breaker Pro disc to use to boot Ps2 CD based games.
Unfair to me...

Either that or get the 3.3 set. I have the breaker pro because there are some good games for ps1 that I have that matches this thread, like Marvel Super Heroes, MSH vs SF, X-men vs SF, etc. It's only like 20 bucks or so. . .

Hello max623,
Well, yes I did used Gamejack Version 4 and like I said, it worked great =)
I had tried a bunch of other programs including, Nero, Fire burner, Clone CD, and Alcohol 120%, but nothing worked!!
My best guess would be that some games may be burn properly by only some programs. So from now on if I get a problem with Gamejack, I will try other programs to see if the problem gets solved.
If you are trying to back up your Marvel vs. Capcom 2, then you should download the trial version and just give it a shot.
Hey, well let us know if it solved the problem ;)
