I'm new to using Premiere Pro, and had a problem editing a clip. I have a movie with 20 seconds of black at the top. On the timeline I dragged the left edge of the clip to the right and kept one second of black, and then the video dissolves up. Fine, I saved the project. When I replay the project it plays as such. Next I frameserved and exported the video. When I open up that file the 20 seconds of black is back. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to 'scissor cut' the black out. Thanks.
