hello every1,
i notice that my Phoenix award bios has chapter for overclocking, so u can adjust a few setting, and i would like to know how reliable is that, and some suggestions would be great.
here my config i hope it helps:

Epox 8KRAI KT 600 motherboard
1gb ram
athlon 2800

I'm not sure how to answer "is it reliable?". If you mean "is it accurate?" Then yeah. It's your BIOS so whatever settings you change there will obviously affect everything.

As for suggestions... I'm not sure if your board auto resets the cmos when your settings are invalid. If it doesn't you should find and become familiar with your cmos reset jumper.

I would slowly raise your FSB while barely eding up the vcore to compensate for the FSB increase. Just make sure to watch your temperatures as you increase the vcore.

Also, I'm not sure what speed your ram is. If you have say... PC 3200 (400MHz) memory than you'd be great running 1:1 ratio with the FSB around 200MHz. If you have memory that's a bit slower, say for instance, PC 2700 (333MHz) you may want to split the ratio to get a better overclock, albeit I wouldn't recommend it.

Your overclockability will be related to your ram, your processors ability, your PSU, and heat. Make sure you are keeping an eye on your processor's temperatures are you're raising the vcore. Also, if you notice any weird crashing such as not being able to boot into windows or even when in windows explorer or various other programs unusually crashing... you probably don't have the vcore high enough. This can also be caused by pushing your memory too hard with the wrong timings and/or a weak vdimm voltage.
