Okay i have finally figured out the easy way to burn ps2 games from a cd...
You will need - Dvd Decrypter, Nero 6, Dvd burner, and dvd+r media blank disks, A MOD CHIP IN YOUR PS2!!! OR SWAP MAGIC!
1)get DVD Dycrypter here - http://www.dvddecrypter.com/index.php?act=download
2)Insert PS2 DVD game in your dvd rom drive
3)When DVD Decrypter Is installed go to Mode>ISO>READ
4)For destination select where you would like to copy the game's ISO file to.
5)Click the GRaphic button to start
6)When complete open Nero Express
7)Click Disk Image Or saved Project
8)Find the iso file that you made with dvd decrypter and click begin and thats it!!!!!!! EASY AS THAT AND NO ONE COULD FIGURE IT OUT!!!!! PLEASE WHEN YOU PASSS THIS ON TELL THEM WHERE YOU GOT IT!!
reply on this forum if this works!!! or questions

EASY AS THAT AND NO ONE COULD FIGURE IT OUT!!!!!
??????? its not that hard
also if your going to read with decrypter, why not burn with it to?? use iso-write mode. this only works with dvd based games by the way. to back up a cd based game use nero disc copy function. Decrypter only works with dvd's
Nero can be had from www.nero.com/us/index.html
or your could click Nero anywhere someones typed Nero where its underlined (like in your post) :)

wont dvd dcrypter burn cd's???...i know it wont read them, but i think you can burn them with it.
ibad02,although you can use Nero to burn your ps2 files, you dont need it,DVD Decrypter can quite happliy do the job very well.
and as for "no-one could figure it out!!!!"speech, its actually quite simple and i guess most people on this forum use it.

i dont think decrypter will write to cd. Definitly doesnt read them. you dont have to use Nero though. any cd writing software that is able to make disc copies can be used

Just tried it...can confirm to you hurst that it does work. decrypter can write to cds but not read them. not very convenient eh?
Just stick with Alcohol 120% for cd games.
dvd decrypter will always be #1 for dvd games though.

there is a cd loading disc and a dvd loading disc. Basically, you put in SwapMagic, then it asks you to swap to your backup ps2 game. To allow SwapMagic to work, you will need a fliptop or slidecard. The fliptop replaces your stock ps2 lid and the slidecard is a method used to open the tray without the ps2 knowing.

if its larger than 4.7gb, you either burn to dvd+rDL (cost $10 a disc and most ps2's dont read them) or find a rip kit that will tell you what files to remove safely inorder to fit single layer. Metal gear solid 2 is a dual layer that springs to mind
