well im working with the new nintendo ds and im learning how to stream ds games to the nintendo ds but before all of that let's talk about the nintendo ds's wireless features first

the nintendo ds's connectivity is basicly

a wireless 802.11 network adapter using a wireless mac address for connection not wireless channel based

the connection speed ranges from 2 mb per second to 6 mb per second for games like super mario 64 ds

the problem is that you will need a piece of software to lie to the nintendo ds to think it is connecting to another ds you cannot just use a wireless router the router must be able to send the same signal as a ds in order for communication to work

currently there are project's addressing this

several sites have already been able to send wireless messages to pictochat from there routers already minus the fact you must be running linux in order to use the software to send and receive messages from the ds pretty much right now the only way to send or receive messages from picto chat is threw linux not much windows support right now..

now for streaming ds games

right now the only thing that people have figured out is they can stream the game into the ds but the ds will not run the game it just display's it in the ds's download play section this is highly due to the rsa security so right now ds streaming may be a reality but not anytime soon

but so far so good

thanks to everyone on the internet that is working on ds titles and homebrew software keep kicking butt
