Please help me out. I have burned a lot of dvd's (50) with no problems. to keep this thread short: the start of the problem is: a perfect working movie-only rip with ifo edit on harddisk, too big to fit on 1 dvd+r.
This videostream has to be reduced. Most of the times rempgeg followed by remux with ifoedit will do the job perfectly. but there are some movies which produce flicker. (e.g. traffic, oceans eleven, swaotc, bad company etc.) (forget all warner movies also :-) ). I am trying for two weeks now to reencode with tpmgenc. I start of by creating a project FORCE VIDEO file with DVD2AVI followed by video only ES reencoding with Tpmgenc using the bitrate settings of rempeg. The result seems too be ok (no flicker) but after remux with ifo edit the audio is not sync???? Is there a guide of some sort or can somebody help me out. (if have used the tpmgenc guide on doom9). How do you handle the reencoding issues?

Ok, ok, this is my final message.... but i thought I should notify you all with it. I have quit with the reencoding thing use tpmgenc and cce because it drives me crazy... my procedure with rempeg(see starts of thread) works for almost 90% of all movies with excellent(!) result. I can handle the rest by splitting them in two with ifoedit, just like in the old cinemas :-), a break on half of the movie so anyone can get a drink or do a pee :-). Since DVD+R media are only 6 euro now (= 6 dollar), 12 euro per movie is fine with me. My procedures are simple so I have still time to make love with my girlfriend.
