Update your software and firmware to the latest version !

Hello everyone,

I've been reading a few forums in the past days, and several issues are always fixed in the same way.

By upgrading their burner firmware and/or installing the latest version of software.

Several people had no problems in the past, but are now starting to have problems with new movies.

Those new movies have new protections.

Latest Versions:
----------------
DVDDecrypter v3.5.2.0
AnyDVD v4.5.2.1
DVDShrink v3.2.0.15
Nero Burning Rom v6.6.0.5
VirtualDUB v1.6.3

Several other programs have new releases also, but I am not aware of them since I do not use them.

If you have problems with some of those programs, check for a firmware upgrade, and update those software.

Several issues should go away.
( Let's hope upgrading will not cause new ones <grin> )

How about regular de-frags, disc cleanups, adawares, spybots, clean out cookie folder, clean out mini-dump?

Reading the guides, trying stuff out themselves, trawling the threads to see if their question have been asked before. (those are more for newbies, of which we have had a massive influx sincs Christmas - dvd burners as presents me thinks!)

Just my 2 cents worth!
