I am using Prassi DVDPrimo to backup my x-box games. But I am a NOOB! I was wondering if you can just backup and then play or if you need a modchip? Please Help me out!

Also, Why do you need to connect the x-box to the cpu?? do u save the games on your HD or what????

NEver Mind, Ill buy a modchip it is easier. I dont know why you have to use these special programs. My friend has an x-box modchip and alls we used to burn a WORKING GAME was Roxio6

That's all you need if you already have an xbox iso of the game on your computer or a copied game on disc which you can copy.You can usually find them on the internet if you know where to look.If your looking to backup an original game disc you will need "these special programs".

No what you copied was a 13.6 mb video file that wouldn't work with your xbox. Those ARE NOT the game files.

And you do need these "special" programs. If you were copying a ALREADY COPIED game, then no, you would not need these "special programs," but to copy originals, you need the programs (and connect the xbox to the computer via router/hub/switch or crossover cable.
