Swap Magic Questions

I am thinking about buying swap magic and I have a few questions before I buy it. I do not have a dvd burner yet but I plan on buying that, if swap magic works. For the time being, I want to know if any of you guys have burned ps2 CD games and if they have worked. What burning software will I need to play burned ps2 CD games? Will I need to have specific settings to burn it or just burn it as I would any other cd? I would really appreciate it if you answer my posts. Thanks

there are only a handful of ps2 games on cd's, plus, at least my ps2, the ps2's don't really like cd backups.
V9 PS2, flip top, SMD, DVDLoader

Typical CD-/+RW burner will work. you need a few things tho. PS2 CD games have Copywrite protection on them. Mostly PSx copywrite. Always check to make sure what they are. ClonyXL or ClonyXXL is a good tool for determining that. USE other then Memorex CD-/+R's You could end up with alot of coaster's. Not saying they WON'T work. Just saying SOMETIMES they are not good enough. Also Remember PSx Backup games will not work on a PS2 console unless you buy a Breaker-Pro.
Also specify your PS2 v# Check the Forums for other posting's. Always remember 1 / 2 things. :) Check your burn speed. Remember copywrite.

i don't think there are hundreds, are you including dvdrips in your number?

what do you mean by dvd rips?original dvd ps2 games ripped onto cd-r?.
do you know if any of these are dvd rips

this is just a small amount of games i have on cd-r,i have lots more.
never really about them being dvd rips,i dont think they are?
why would they be released on dvd for someone to rip them to cd-r?if its a file size issue,or not as the case may be,then why are they not released on cd-r in the first place?or am i missing this whole dvd rip issue?

i have a v7 ps2, if that makes any difference. can dvd rips fit on a single cd? i was looking around the forum and people were saying that you that the ps2 won't play cds that are greater than 623 mb. is that true? if it is, do u have to buy 650 mb cds? are there any specific cds that work and some that don't?

These i know for sure are dvd rips. Yes, they are dvd games ripped to fit on cd, most games on the net are dvd rips.

i see that many people are having problems with cd-r backups. what is your success rate on cd backups sly? people are also having problems playing cd backups with swap magic. and what is swap magic fix? did the swap magic people mess up or something? is swap magic fix supposed to be used with swap magic v3.3? the web site says:
"SWAPMAGiCFiX.COM identifies known problem games with Swap Magic 2.0 CD/DVD and links directly to the appropriate WORKiNG FiX for each game."

oh yea. i have another question i forgot to ask. sly, you have told people to get this thing called breaker pro to play cd-r games. do you really need that?

breaker pro is for ps1 games and dvd rips you download off the internet that are bigger than 632 megs (swap magic cd can't load games bigger than that). swap magic fix is not needed if you have swap magic version 3.3, they built the fix into it.
