I downloaded a movie and it is an mpeg file can anyone help me with burning that file to a dvd

You could use Nero Vision Express or DVD Santa to convert your files to proper dvd format.

He's right, you just have to use nero or dvd santa. I prefer DVD Santa. Both of these programs are not free however (at least I don't think so). Nero might have a trial period. the only drawback with the Santa (I don't know about Nero) is that you cannot make your own chapters or cool menus. What i end up doning is creating the files with the Santa and then using DVD Lab to make the menus. it is easy to use and so cool. Check it out. good luck and happy buring...
