I need some graphic card buying help been looking for 3 weeks but am stuck got £150 max.

Is this any good. Sapphire Atlantis Radeon 9800 PRO 128 MB DDR 8x AGP DVi & TV-Out - £110.66 £130.03 inc

or XFX NVidia Geforce FX 5900XT 128MB DDR 8x/4x AGP TV-Out DVI Retail Box £140.18 inc VAT .

if you no which is best or ought better -please help

I'm fairly sure the 9800 Pro was a few squeaks faster than the 5900 when it came out, that or they were almost tied. It could have been the 5950, though, that tied the 9800 Pro or passed it by a bit.

Just check tomshardware.com or another hardware review site for 9800 Pro or 5900XT benchmarks, they're bound to be benchmarked against each other. You should be able to make your decision from there.
