I own a video board Leadtek Winfast A310 TD (nvidia fx5600 chipset) and I have a little problem which I cannot solve. The thing is that when I play movies, eventually my computer freezes while my tv output gets green. The movies's sound still goes on normally but the system is locked. This not happens right away or after a certain amount of time. It can happen after 5 minutes or the whole movie plays with no problem at all till end. I do not know what determines this to happen. i tried different codecs, different video drivers, etc. nothing gives me a hint about the problem.
my system is:
mb: Gigabyte 7va-xp
ram: 2x512 DDR 333 Mhz Kingmax
cpu: Athlon XP 2400+
hdd: WD-jb 80GB, 8 mb buffer
OS: Win XP (tried without sp / with sp1, sp2) (under linux i'm still testing but after 3 movies no problem)
