I downloaded various firmware for my driver and none of them works!!! It said errors and not suitable for Sony Vaio. Does anybody know any better site to download firmware?????? Also my driver already used all 5 region changes and region locked!!! Also when I tried to upgrade firmware, it said error and use the proper data for SONY. What should I do????

This is from a Japanese company that OEMs the DVR-103:

Firmware v1.68:
http://www.st-trade.co.jp/support/download/Farm/DVR103/DVR3t168.exe

Region code reset utility:
http://www.st-trade.co.jp/support/download/rgn2J/region.exe

Works for my DVR-103. Hope this helps.

It didn't work. It kept saying "failed blah blah..." I tried to changed the firmware, but it said "improper file, use proper file for Sony Vaio". Is there any other way???????

Didn't work. It did the same thing.....is THERE ANY OTHER way???? Like I said, my computer is Sony Vaio and the model is Pioneer DVD-RW 103R
