patching PAL to NTSC

I ripped a PAL CD based game to my hard drive using Nero because Decrypter only does DVD's. I wanted to patch it to an NTSC game but I can't open Nero Image files. What am I supposed to do?

Using burnatonce 0.99.5 -

Create an ISO File
Select Read/Copy-->Read to Image. Click ok and save as ISO Image File type.

Patch the ISO file
a)Download PS2 PAL TO NTSC PATCHER WITH Y-FIX V1.05 BETA
***You can download it here: http://www.geocities.com/jayteemaster2003/ps2_pal2ntsc_yfix.zip
b)Run ps2_pal2ntsc_yfix.exe
c)Click Browse and select the iso file of the game
d)Select 48 as the Y-Fix offset. You cannot have it perfectly centered because the PAL signal has more lines or resolution than the NTSC signal does. This is as close as you can get. You can raise the offset if you need to see more of the bottom of the screen or you could lower the offset if you want to see more of the top of the screen.
e)I choose to uncheck Make PN Selector
f)Click PATCH FILE. The following screen will pop up.

g)This means that the elf file of the game was backed up to your hard drive. Just click ok and exit the program.


Burn the ISO File
Select File-->Load New Image. Load and burn the ISO Image File. The program patches and overwrites your orignal ISO file. Select your orignal ISO file.

I used Nero to rip to an ISO and it turned out as an .NRG and the patcher doesn't open that type of file. Is there another program that patches or converts? Should I just rip to ISO with another program.

Burnatonce is what I recommend because it is free and it will do the job for you.
