This has got to be the most retarded thread I've ever read in my life!

I wouldn't say "ripping the games" is the obsession. Video gaming (Nintendo to be spicific) is the obsession. Some people obsess over sports, some over shopping, some over movies stars, some over music, and so on. Our obsession is video gaming. In particular, ripping Gamecube games.

I'd like to know what you do for an obsession? Does it involve posting your (unwanted) moral thoughts about what we talk about on these forums? If that's the case it's pissing most of us off. See, I can find just as much fault with you posting on this forum as you finding fault with all of us ripping Gamecube games.

Point being? Stop being a bi*ching gank! Some of us are honest people backing up our original copies and the rest of us are paying $5.99 at Blockbuster (or elsewhere) so we can rent out a Gamecube game, rip it, then give it back to them. Hey, we're paying in SOME fashion aren't we? There's the cost in mini Dvd-r's, the modchip, then the DVD-R/RW drive itself! Hell, 99.9% of piracy is a contradtion! We spend money to save money. We all know in the end that Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow will drop from $49.99 to $5.99 in a matter of years (or sequals) whichever comes first.

So then, is the gaming industry making money or loosing money? Nintendo 64 (and some NES/SNES )games are still be rented out in millions of stores. So don't worry your stupid a$$ off about it because when it comes to forums as such, when piracy seems to be more the intent, we don't give a $hit to hear you or your opinions. Post in another forum.

Knowledge is power. Power makes everything and everyone work. Now then, let's work with each other.
