Could someone explain exactly what would happen if I used the Master Reset on the phone. I was wondering if that would sort the Earpiece. Will I lose my wallpapers and pictures etc? Will I lose what my 'operator' has set up.

What model phone are you talking about? A master reset would not harm any of the saved files such as wallpapers or ringtones, nor would it mess with any of your saved settings, but a master clear would set rid of all saved wallpapers and ringtones but it would not reset any saved settings such as profiles or color schemes. a feature reset would reset all settings. Do not do a master reset unlless instructed to by a tech support agent because if there are problems with the network in your area you may kick yourself into no service.
