is there a program that converts mp3 to ringtones and how do I upload to the phone, I have an USB cable to the phone.

you use motorola's mobile phone tools or you can do it yourself by downloading any number of free audio editing programs that allow you to save a portion (10-15 sec recommended I think) of your MP3 to use as a ringtone.

here are two programs I recommend if you want to do it outside of the mobile phone tools. However, you still need mobile phone tools to upload the MP3 to your phone.

1. Goldwave
2. Audacity

Others may know of other free audio editing programs.
