Lexplore error in URCMON.DLL

I have been getting this error when i log on to internet
Lexplore has caused an erroi in URCMON.DLL lexplore will now close If you continue to experience problems try restarting your computer.
But when I re stasrt and try to log on again it comes back and closes down internet explorer' Why and how do I fix it?
More to the point is it easy to fix and will I be able to do it without taking machine into repair shop?
