Backing up alien vs. predator and everything went fine...quality and so on but when i watch it after every scene it pauses until i press the button too skip the scene..

Doesn't seem like a media problem..any suggestions?

What programs are you using, media and burning speed.

CRC check = no errors
rip with dvdshrink, burn with nero

Media code/Manufacturer ID MCC 02RG20

I have had problems with this media befeore but this has never been one of them..

i did it with dvdshrink, burn with nero
but burned 4x and 8x had a great movie both times
on verbatim digital movie r- and memorex r-

I am having the same problem. I use Mitsumi DVD-R sony burner. (DVDshrink and nero) The movie playback pauses every few minutes and sometimes it skips few minutes.

I can only select 4X as my burn speed. No matter what I select it still burns it at 4X.

tHere may be a fix for the speed on Nero try search or post a new thread.
i Think your problem is media. mOst of use burn at 4x with no problems. iF you have cheap media, burning slower may or may noy help.

Hi all, Many of you are having problems with these new movies.

I have had no problems with any of them and I use AnyDVD & CloneDVD2.

Give it a go. It beats the rest hands down, don't get left behind now!!!!!!!
