AR MAX swap trick help

hi, im trying to play snes games on my ps2 and i dont have a modded ps2 so i was going to try to do the swap trick (where u manually pull the tray out)(witch i can do)

but i was wondering if this could be done with AR MAX because all i ever see is people doing it with AR and GS2

P.S.
this is my first time doing this so anything else on the snes thing would help a lot too, thanks

You will need a modchip or swap magic disks.
AR MAX does NOT boot backups.
(opening the tray without this software
will damage your ps2 as the disks are still spining)
Get swap magic disks qnd save yourself from buying a new ps2

Mah....i've read and heard in a lot of places that backup gsmes WORK on non-modded PS2's by just using AR-MAX.
Eve is true that the disk kees spinning.

If anyone can confirm that is possible, please post here how to do it.

It is possible.
But can damage your ps2.
Buy the swap magic disks.
Cheaper than buying a new sucky slim ps2.
And it works with GAMESHARK not armax.

Hmmm...my objective is to save the money buying SM, running the exploint installer on my PS2, so I just need to do the trick once...wich hopefully wont dmg my PS2.

And since GS and AR are conceived to work the same way...and tutorials like this one: http://www.exploitstation.com/articles/backups.php

shows it...even such a tutorial is not working on my PS2....who knows why...crap!
