I downloaded the motorcycle diaries and i'm not sure what language it is in..but i know it's not english. The folder comes with a file that is avi.sub and i'm guessing thats the subtitles. But how do i play it? the movie file itside is a avi file. How do i watch it with the subtitles? thanks

I am almost certain windows media player is able to play subs, unsure fully but hear it can

well yeah...i can play the AVI video clip on windows media player...but it doesnt have the subtitles. If i try opening the AVI.sub file using windows media player..it wont play it

as I said I ain't no expert but you either have to change something in the settings or download something to get the subs to work .....I have seen it done but cannot remember how to do it

This might work.
Play the AVI file in Windows Media Player.
While it is playing the video, right click in the middle of windows media player. Go to subtitles and make sure there on.
