hi guys:)

have been using a 106 and a 105 for a while now burning on the fly at 4x with no problems.

since 8x media is out i decided to buy a 108 and ditch the 105 and burn on the fly again expecting to get 8x burns using the 106 as the reader (its meant to be able to read at 12x)

but i don't get anything like it more like 4x still.

i've been told that u can't burn on the fly properly using the same channel but i was doing it with the 105 and 106?

i tried putting the 106 on the same channel as my hd and still avg 4x speeds.

if i bought another 108 and used this as the reader could i get 8x burns?

thanks for any info
