Re-editing chapters on DVD-R copies?

Is there a way to re-edit the chapters on a dvd-r before copying it to a new disc?

I have two music dvd-r's that were made so that the chapters are not divided up correctly (they were probably made on a standalone dvd-r deck, using the auto chapter function). When I skip from one chapter to another it takes me to the "middle" of a chapter, instead of the beginning of each one.

I would assume I would have to copy each disc onto my PC as 1 track, and re-edit from there?
I have NERO Express ...can I do it with this software?

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
